I love the Gideon Bible app. It allows me to read God’s Word, or to listen if I am driving or cannot read at the moment. Wonderful way to hear the Word of God!

Audio Bible reading with auto scrolling option makes it so easy to read through large sections of scripture in a few minutes. There is some dramatization in certain sections which makes the passage more clear when different people are talking. The sleep timer is great in case you fall asleep.

Love this App. for content and ease of use. Please keep it running. Thanks.

I like and appreciate the app, however, every time I plugged my iPhone in or turn the power on to my vehicle, the app starts playing. Sometimes if I’m having a conversation with someone or trying to pay attention to what’s going on the road this is very distracting and can be a hazard while driving. I’ve tried adjusting every setting in my vehicle and nothing works to stop. It’s automatic playing . I would just like to have control of when it plays and when it doesn’t.

Incredible app. The dramatized audio versions are awesome. Thank you. Side note: a little slow and glitchy. Wish you had NKJV too. Also Psalm 78 KJV dramatized is glitched for me currently please fix.

It worked before the last update. Doesn’t work anymore. Just spins and constantly loading.

Hearing the words read is very calming at night when your eyes are too tired to read. The voices are very clearly spoken and with expression.

The app used to list all the bike version avaliable. Ow the list is empty and you must search for a keyword like new, version, etc. Just simply list the avaliable versions like the app previously did.

This app is very effective on keeping your faith on track.

This app is the best bible app ever, it is a great blessing to have, I love the way it self reads with different voices in a very descriptive manner. It can make you read up to ten chapters and more without having any stress and you even want to read more and more. I love this app and enjoy reading it every day.

This app is way better than I expected. A friend at church was handing out business cards that advertised the app so I installed it to see what it was like. I had no idea it had audio so that was a plus. But when I started listening, it was like listening to a play. All the Bible characters are “played” by a different voice and there’s background noises, crowds, etc. The Bible has come alive for me in a whole different way. I listen to it at night in bed before I fall asleep. Sometimes it’s soothing, but sometimes it’s like watching an exciting action movie and I think about it for awhile before I can fall asleep! 😄 I never write reviews, but I love this app! Update: This app won’t play on my iPad anymore. I get a screen that says “No content available”. I can still use it on my iPhone and it works great. I’ve tried reinstalling it twice with no luck on the iPad. Another update: Many Bible versions show in the available list, but most of them say “Forbidden” when you choose them. Maybe just don’t show them in the list if you aren’t really going to offer them. I even tried looking for a place to upgrade by paying, but there’s no place to do that. I’m now disappointed because I really want to use the NSV. I’ll probably just go back to my regular Bible for daily reading.

I love the little pocket sized Gideons bibles because they’re so cute and dear to my heart because I got one as a child after school and I loved my little bible. Now I get to read or listen on my phone, tablet, laptop or car! I love it!!

Have trouble removing “justified text” It still plays when turned off

I so appreciate this app. Sometimes I just let it read to me when my eyes are tired or just to keep filling me up while I am busy with other things. It’s easy to use and always works well.

I like being able to see verse numbers.

I usually use a print Bible. However, when I can’t sleep, this is always there. Love the dark background not to wake my wife. Thank you to all the Gideons.

You can get help with Lifes Problems, Select the chapter of the character then choose a starting verse pretty cool if you ask me

The read aloud is vastly improved! Just need easier way to remove it from the bottom of the page so you don’t accidentally turn it on in church services

I like this app because of its usability and accessibility. As a low vision person i am able to read passages with the screen reader, invert colors, and zoom in when needed without getting lost in the interface. Buttons are labeled with useful info. Thank you.

I use it to look up the Key Bible Doctrines in the back of my Bible. This way I can leave my Bible open and not lose my place. Plus, laying on my stomach while looking up Bible verses this way helps me not hurt my elbows as quickly. I include getting the Gideon App with 1700 languages in my written gospel preaching.

I have used several Bible apps and this one is the best by far

If you’re looking for help this app has it. It has over 1000 languages and will even read the Bible out loud to you in any of them.
